Quality of Work Life and Its Impact on Developing the Managerial Skills in Governmental Organizations

Abstract
This study investigates the effect of quality of work life (QWL) on the managerial skills. It was conducted on an accidental sample of 126 governmental employees in Egypt. The data were collected by using a questionnaire. The data were statistically analyzed using (SPSS) percentages, median, standard deviation, simple correlation coefficient and multiple regression function. The most important results were the percentage of respondents with a high level of quality of work life was 22%, The percentage of respondents with a high level of managerial skills dropped to 28%, the results showed a significant correlation between the level of managerial skills and the level of quality of work life at level Probability 0.01, and the level of quality of work life was found to be one of the most influential variables at the level of managerial skills.
