The Relationship between Intellectual Capital and Quality of Work Life with Performance Improvement among Employees of The Department of Education in Tehran
Abstract
Introduction
This study aimed to investigate the relationship between intellectual capital and quality of work life with performance
improvement among the staff of the Department of Education in Tehran.
Methods
This study is an applied and descriptive research. The population of this research included all employees of the Department
of Education in Tehran that their number is 538. In this study, 226 persons were selected as the sample by using Morgan
table through stratified random sampling data were collected through questionnaires. Three questionnaires were used in this
study.
Results
The results of correlation coefficient and Structural Equation showed that there is a significant relationship between
intellectual capital and quality of work life of employees of Department of Education in Tehran with their job performance.
Also, there is a significant relationship between intellectual capital and quality of work life of employees.
Conclusion
According to the regression equation was found that the effect of intellectual capital on job performance is more than the
quality of working life. Therefore, it can be said to predict job performance, intellectual capital is more important than the
quality of working life.
