Using Twitter to Enhance Students’ ESL Writing: A Preliminary Case Study

Abstract
This study aims to investigate the potential use of Twitter as educational tool, particularly in enhancing students’ writing skills. It also designs to examine students’ motivation and attitude on ESL writing using Twitter. This study combines administration of a survey questionnaire and a semi-structured interview to gather the data. Finding of the study reveals that respondents were benefited through the use of Twitter in enhancing their ESL writing. It is also found that the students have positive motivation and attitude towards using Twitter on ESL writing. The researchers suggested that the study to be carried out on a bigger scale.
