<strong>Abstract</strong><br>
Transgender community continues to face discrimination and exclusion from the mainstream society. Hence,
there is a dire need to understand whether young people also hold the similar view or are more adaptive to the
newer image of Transgender. This research paper attempt to explore the attitude of New Indian generation towards
Third gender in India. The study reveals that though few still find it hard to accept the third gender ,majority of the
young people are having a positive attitude towards transgender.
