Advanced Vehicle Security Systems with Accident Notification: A Review

Abstract
The number of motor vehicles on the road has rapidly increased along with the advancement of science and technology. But in recent years, the number of traffic accidents has steadily climbed. Thus, it is important for us to adopt certain measures to stop these traffic accidents from happening. This study represents a programmed framework utilizing GPS, 4G, temperature sensor, and an accelerator meter. The study licenses confinement of the vehicles and transmits the position to the proprietor to the administration and on his cellular telephone as a short message service (SMS). When a driver is driving, and any mishap occurs, and the person is not in a conscious state then the driver’s information and where exactly the accident happened is uploaded to the nearby Hospital/Police Station/Fire Brigade with his location, car’s orientation, and car’s internal temperature. This review paper aims to make sure that the right authorities are alerted during the event of an emergency and the local hospitals can reach the site as soon as possible. The study aims to send critical information to the authorities such as the speed at which the accident occurred and the internal temperature of the vehicle and vehicle orientation as well along with the GPS location of the vehicle. Additionally, Raspberry Pi is used as a central processing unit to add complex dedicated applications or Operating system to get the most out of the system in terms of vehicle security and communication which is the main advantage of our review/research.
