New TLM Algorithm Formulations for Modeling Lorentz Medium

Abstract
In this paper, we present a Transmission Line Matrix (TLM) algorithm improved by the symmetrical condensed node (SCN-TLM) technique for simulating EM wave interactions with a Lorentz dispersive media.The proposed algorithm is based on the use of the polarization current in the media and combines the auxiliary differential equation (ADE) technique to manage scattering following the conventional discretization process. The number of operations requiredhas been reduced for each iteration. The effectiveness and precision of this method are validated through the alignment observed between the computed New ADE-TLM reflection coefficient and the analytical solutions in a Lorentz medium.
