Enhancing a New Design For “Laboratory Safety” Subject in Order to Implement B-Learning
Lecture recording, and online pre-availability of lecture notes and slides is routinary at most universities. This
means that Academia faces a wide challenge to ensure deep lecture content that is both engaging and accessible. This work
presents the development of a new design for the course of “Laboratory Safety” implementing blended learning. This course
is part of the ‘Estudios Tecnicos Especializados’ (Specialized Technical Studies) which is a special program at
‘Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico’ . During this course we had observed that students positively value the use of
information and communication technologies during the lectures.
