The School Management by the Educational Development Network of Small Schools Under the Office of Udonthani Primary Educational Service Area 1

Abstract
This study aimed to investigate the school management by educational development network of small schools thus develop guidelines based on the school management through the educational development network of small schools under the Office of UdonthaniPrimary Educaional Area 1, Thailand.Researchers utilized mixed mode method using survey and in-depth interview design. A total of 1 school administrators and teachers as well as seven experts were involved phase 1 and phase 2 of this study as respondents respectively.Researchers employed purposive sampling technique for the seven qualitative samples while multi-stage sampling technique for 255 quantitative samples by utilizing Krejcie and Morgan table. Two types of research instruments were utilized in this study namely questionnaire and interview protocol. This study was conducted in two phases. Descriptive statistic like mean score, percentage as well as content analysis were utilized to analyze the obtained data.The results from the first phase indicated that all the dimensions of school management by the educational development network of small schools varied from low, moderate to high level.The guidelines to develop school management through the educational development network of small schools under the Office of Udonthani Primary Educational Service Area 1 in the category of ‘organization members’ participation’ are as follows; (i) there should be a meeting of all departments to build understanding on the core curriculum and a meeting of small schools to cowrite curriculums;(ii) administrators, teachers, and personnel in the network centers must see the importance of and has knowledge of curriculum, target, and development activities;(iii) school administrators and teachers should realize the importance of using innovations and internet networks, as well as determine the needs that the school selects and uses innovations;(iv) assign an assessment committee to assess learning results in network center and school levels; (v) school administrators, teachers and network committee determine guidelines, factors and needs of the schools in four areas which are people, money, materials, and management, and build networks in all sectors, not only within the network center, and (vi) school administrators, teachers and committee survey problems, needs, and interests of learners to form information.
