Paper Title
An Initial Validation of a Chinese Version of Media Literacy Self-Evaluation Scale (MLSS)

Abstract
Media and information learning experiences have been proposed by media educators and researchers since the last decades. Researchers began to propose the importance of media related knowledge with respect to the growing use of media during the learning process. This is referred to as media literacy. The current research aims to validate a Chinese instrument for measuring media literacy among university students, namely the media literacy self-evaluation scale (MLSS). Results showed an acceptable fit for the proposed three-factor structure of the scale. Suggestions for future research will be discussed.
