Paper Title
Per-Month Carbon Absorption Estimation of Trees Using Drone Image
Abstract
Using medium/high-resolution remote sensing to find areas with trees is done using statistical means
or machine learning-based methods. In contrast, in this paper, high-resolution images from a drone were used to
identify individual trees; then, tree crown diameter and tree height were used to calculate tree volume, which was
ultimately used to estimate carbon absorption. Also, changes in carbon absorption were analyzed based on
changes in vegetation density, confirming the need to obtainimages from remote sensing drones for different
seasons.
