Abstract : The success of the management of municipality depends upon many important factors. The purposes of this
research were to study the level of participation in the management of municipality of the outskirt of Bangkok, to
comparative study by using demographic information, to study factors influencing the success of the management of
municipality, and to study problems and suggestion to improve the management of municipality. Population included all of
the people who lived in the outskirt of Bangkok. A total of 400 sample group was selected by using simple random
sampling. Statistics included mean, standard deviation, multiple regression analysis, and one way ANOVA. The benefits of
this research included to understand the level of participation of people to the municipality management, and a suggestion to
enhance the management of municipality effectively.
