Abstract : Business Organization and Management acquire an importance in the field of business studies. It studies
methods, techniques and practices of efficient organizations and management of business. A business acts as an institution
organized and operated to provide goods and services to the society Business involves production and/or exchange of goods
and services to earn profits. But profit is not the sole objective of the business. Tata Motors is the largest automobile
company in India. Financial statement analysis is a part of the large information processing system, which forms the very
basis of any decision making. Ratio shows an inter-relationship, which exits among various figures shown in the financial
statement. Ratios also reveal the financial position of a business firm. This step involves identification of the financial ratios
that had been found to be or deemed to be important measures of financial performance.
