A Big Data Analytical Framework for Environmental Data Considering Regional Factors

Abstract
Due to the development of information technology, environment-related huge data is being generated in various forms. It is very important to analyze and utilize the data using big data analytical technique. In this study, we examine an approach to big data analysis suitable for various types of environmental data including public data related to clean environment. In particular, we propose a customized big data analysis framework reflecting unique characteristics of Jeju environment. We organize the entire process from collection of environmental data through tailored services for users. Through this study, we expect that a big data analysis model suitable for Jeju environmental data will be derived and the understanding of clean environment will be improved by providing various results of environmental data analysis.
