Abstract : Social media has progressed from essentially giving a stage to people to remain in touch with their family and friends. Presently it is where purchasers can take in more about their most treasured companies and the products they offer. Advertisers and retailers are using these locales as another approach to reach shoppers and offer a new way to shop. Innovation related improvements, the ascent of capable search engines, advanced mobile phones and interfaces, shared correspondence, and online social systems have expanded advertiser’s capacity to achieve shoppers through new touch focuses. This paper elaborates the progression of social media marketing and its evolution. Keywords- Social Media, Advertisement, Online Marketing.
