Article Citation :Cesar Antunez De Mayolo , (2018 ) " A Proposed Framework for Coamprehending Envy and its Causes among Organizations " , International Journal of Management and Applied Science (IJMAS) , pp. 45-49, Volume-4,Issue-10

Abstract : Over the past 20 years managing employees’ emotions is seen as one of the key topics among organizations in order to be successful. While positive emotions have gained particular interest through positive organizational behavior research, negative emotions in the workplace have caught less academic and managerial interest, even though are important influencers on job performance. Through theoretical research, the author reviews the nature of fairness within organizations, and its implications to envy, summarizing the nature of envy in the workplace, its causes and its implications among job performance. This study proposes a framework for understanding envy within organizations, linked to four moderators of the behavioral responses from an envious individual, that are core-self evaluations, gratitude, referent cognitions, and perceived organizational support. Keywords - Envy, fairness, justice, motivation, employee
