Abstract : The results of this study are in a continuation of the previous literature on the nexus between labor force and economic growth. The study reports that all the three categories of the labor force have significant and positive effect on economic growth at all level of education irrespective of the different stages of the economy. When each labor force category is embodied with human capital its significance increases and its effect on economic growth become stronger and more robust. But the employed agriculture labour force has more positive effect on economic growth as compared to its counter parts categories which shows that agrarian country like Pakistan has much more capacity to improve or enhance economic growth.
