Format-Preserving Encryption: Image Encryption Under FF1 Scheme

Abstract
In this work, we have analyzed the NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) special publication focused on the FF1 scheme for format-preserving encryption. Using that information, we have built an encryption model applied to image encryption, upon which we have performed several tests, namely histogram and analysis NPCR (Net Pixel Change Ratio) scores, and computational cost. Keywords - Cryptography, Format-Preserving Encryption, FF1, FFX, Image Encryption.
