Abstract : This paper deals with coordination and non – coordination scheme for deterministic inventory model for both buyer and vendor. During coordination scheme,vendor gives the quantity discount to buyer. Shortages and credit period is permitted in both the schemes. Our ultimate aim to determine the optimal order quantity to minimize the total cost. Finally, numerical examples are illustrated to propose the developed model.
