Abstract : Wild Hunt is considered to be a universal and sacred event in world mythology. More specifically, In Georgian and Germanic mythologies, an importance of a hunter and his/her relation with pagan gods should be noted. In addition, hunter’s zoomorphic nature is worth mentioning. The Anglo-Saxon Chronicle in Teutonic written sources and Georgian epic stories are examined in details to identify some common characteristics of both cultures.
