Abstract : Education is the continuous activity of knowledge upgrading which is not restricted to academic but spread around all the industries, under skill and competency building. In the era of ICT (information, Communication, Technology), every industry, including Education, utilizes Technology as the driver. Technological Education management comprises the technological capabilities to support the existing stream of all educational activities and devising new channels or innovative to spread education to the learners community. Education Technology aimed to enable ease of imparting education as the desired methodology. „Edtech‟ focus to bring various novel technology approaches & innovations in the field of education. This paper articulates the current technological usage in Education and the futuristic prospects, in academic institutions and the aspects of the „ways & means‟, prerequisites and the bottlenecks.
