Abstract : As the demand for ideal banking practices increases. Adopting the ethical banking approach has become an important strategy for building bank trust. This study examine the effect of ethical banking practice on bank trust, and also evaluates the mediating effect of value relevance in the relationship between ethical banking practice and bank trust. 500 data adopted from bank customers were used for this study. Result from the structural equation modelling analysis conducted indicated that, the influence of ethical banking practice on value relevance and bank trust is statistically significant, value relevance positively affects bank trust, and value relevance mediates the relationship between ethical banking practice and bank trust.
