Abstract : The present study is conducted on English translation students. The purpose of the research is to find the probable relationship of personality types (PTs) and literary translation (LT) on translation M.A students. 110 university students were given a personality questionnaire and a literary text to translate. One-way ANOVA and T-test were performed on the data. 54 subjects out of the mentioned number were finally analyzed for the research question and it indicated no significant relationship between personality types and literary translation. The research provides some explanations and suggestions at the end for further studies. Keywords - Literary intelligence, Literary translation, Personality, Personality types.
