Abstract : This research aims to study foreign language mixing. Both in terms of the type of words and characteristic of
foreign languages found in Top Chef Thailand Program. The results of the study revealed 438 total word-language
combinations: 272 nouns (62.10%), 75 verbs (17.12%), 51 adjectives (11.64%), 1 adverb (0.23%), 1 interjection (0.23%)
for all five common language combinations were the use of foreign words in sentences using a foreign language phrase in a
sentence, using foreign language sentences, using foreign words in conjunction with Thai meanings, using foreign language
words in conjunction with loan words and the use of abbreviations in foreign languages.
