Abstract : The Personal Health Record (PHR) has been part of healthcare by decades but its adoption is very slow due to the
various challenges affecting it. This paper presents the methodology used to build ontology for personal health record that
gathers all the terms needed by the researchers to produce knowledge that can help to find out the challenges in the adoption
of PHR and provide an ideal PHR to the patients.
