Abstract : Abstract - The paper presents the results of empirical study conducted among employees of Croatian companies with the aim to determine the frequency of workplace incivility and it sconsequences on employee emotional response (Negative Affect) and behavioral response(absenteeism, displacement and exit). Additionally, the paper analyzed the connection between workplace incivility and Negative Affect and connection between workplace incivility and absenteeism, displacement and exit. According to the obtained results, the majority of respondents perceived at least some form of incivilityin the last year prior to the survey. Additionally, the results show that, as a consequence of perceived workplace incivility, about half of respondents felt anger and nervousness, more than 40% felt disappointment, irritation and resentment, about 30% were sad, and about 20% were downhearted. However, only a small proportion of respondents reported they participated in absenteeism (11.5% decreased the amount of their time spent at work and 6,9 % falsely reported sick), displacement(3% of respondents) and exit (11,5%of respondents) after perceived workplace incivility. Furthermore, the study found significant correlation -between the frequency to exposure to workplace incivility and Negative Affect. On the contrary, no significant connection was detected between the frequency of exposure to workplace and behavioral response of respondents (absenteeism, displacement and exit). Keywords - Workplace Incivility, Negative Affect, Absenteeism, Displacement, Exit, Correlation
