Abstract : Abstract – Purpose: The aims of this paper are to evaluate the causes of procyclical fiscal policy and its impact on macroeconomic condition. It also provides the fiscal policy assessment of Uzbekistan. Methodology: To evaluate the fiscal policy of Uzbekistan the study employs Lane (2003) and Woo (2009) models and Kaminsky et al. (2004) composite unit of measurementbased on annual data for 2009-2020. Findings: The results of the research derived from using both methods show that Uzbekistan pursued a procyclical fiscal policy during the period under view.
