Abstract : Abstract - The Psychological Contract has been emerged as one of the most crucial areas of Organizational Behaviour. Over the years it has been developed in isolation but in line with the organizational change and economic development. The boundary connecting the person and the organization is important to complete exploitation of the human resources. The employee and the organization create a “Psychological Contract”. Engagement is the extent to which employees put discretionary effort into their work beyond the minimum to get the job done, in the form of extra time, brain power or energy. Establishing an engaged workforce is now a high priority for many organizations in both the private and public sectors. The banking system in India is significantly different from that of other Asian nations because of the country’s unique geographic, social, and economic characteristics. This study aimed at studying the relationship of Psychological Contract on Employee Engagement among the banking sector employees in North India. The data sample has been 112 employees of the North-Indian Region and questionnaire was distributed for the same in both physical copy and online form, in which Psychological Contract and Employee Engagement was measured using the standardized questionnaire. The results have indicated significant correlation between the variables. Keywords - Organizational Citizenship Behaviour, Psychological Contract, Employee Engagement, Indian Banking Sector.
