Abstract : A private liberal arts college converted the part-time MBA program from evening classes on-campus to fully
online with synchronous and asynchronous delivery. Students from on-campus and on-line formatswere surveyed as to their
perception of their criteria for selecting the program and the program outcomes. Results found that both groups preferred
convenience of class attendance irrespective of delivery mode; on-line was preferred if available but geography played a part
in on-campus delivery. There was no noticeable difference in perceived program outcomes by the students as they completed
the program and there was no significant difference in their performance on third party tests that measured their learning
outcomes.
