Abstract : The tradition of badulang or bajamba dining is a customary practice usually held during traditional ceremonies and other important gatherings. Its implementation and the types of food served vary in each region according to local customary agreements. In this tradition, there are social and cultural values such as mutual cooperation, togetherness, equality regardless of social status, ethics, and solidarity. This research employs a qualitative approach by analyzing literature, with the research subjects consisting of documents discussing the bajamba dining tradition. The analysis technique used is content analysis by triangulating sources to ensure the validity of the results. The research findings indicate that there are social and cultural values in nine processes within the bajamba dining tradition, including brotherhood, togetherness, mutual respect, spirit of mutual cooperation, cultural awareness, and ethical values. It is hoped that this research can contribute to the socialization of social education values through the bajamba dining tradition. Keywords - Social, Cultural, Local Traditions, and "Makanbajamba.
