Abstract : This paper dwells on the relevance of public relations strategies in managing strike actions in Nigerian Universities. It x-rayed the need to use public relations strategies to create mutual understanding, two-way communication flow as well as planned and sustained efforts by University authorities in Nigeria to ensure that strike actions did not cripple the academic system in Nigeria. Factors which were responsible for strike actions in the country were identified and discussed extensively. The paper did not fail to review relevant literatures associated with this topic of study. Also, a sample size of 400 respondents was derived from the population of Enugu urban residence used as the area of study. Both structured and unstructured questionnaires were used to collect data. The data collected from the respondents were analyzed. Keywords- Public Relations, Strike Actions, Nigerian Universities.
