Introduction Of Comparable Entity Mining Techniques

Abstract
Decision making is a day to day process for humans. It requires comparison of entities. But for an efficient decision to be made, one needs to understand that which entity needs to be compared and what are the alternatives to it. Especially in today’s cut throat competition where there are products available in such wide variety of features and price. For finding such comparable entities, some techniques are proposed. In this paper we give a brief introduction of comparable entity mining techniques. We first introduce the general background of entity mining from comparative questions and review related phases, such as information extraction and comparator ranking. Index Terms— Bootstrapping Algorithm, Comparable Entity Mining, Comparators, Inductive Extraction Pattern.
