Abstract : Operational risk management gained in the last years a higher importance in most companies acting in financial services domain. Therefore, companies became aware of the fact that operation risk control and mitigation is an important element in the entire system of risk management. Taking into consideration that the most causes of the operational risk occurrence are related to human factor, this paper is aimed to highlight the fact that using the appropriate incentives and disincentives within a company, there is an important step in mitigating operational risk. Index Terms- Incentives, Human, Operational Risk Management.
