Abstract : Credit is analogous to fire and if it gets out of control can be traumatic and can create cataclysmic damage to the
economy. However if it is used reasonably and the credit expansion is supported by strong fundamentals it will be a great
tool offering immense advantages to the economy. This paper talks about how the economy goes into credit crisis and
measures to be followed by financial sector to tackle it.
