A Conceptual Model Demonstrating the Effect of Empowerment on Technology Transfer Effectiveness

Abstract
The effect of empowerment on technology transfer effectiveness has notbeen implied in the literature. This study seek to theoretically investigate the effect of empowerment on technology transfer effectiveness. This study identifies the effect of empowerment on technology transfer effectiveness. Empowerment has been represented by four factors including serving employees, mentoring employees, monitoring employees and coaching employees. A conceptual model has been developed by the researcher. This paper identifies the importance of empowerment in achieving successful technology transfer effectiveness. This study provides a theoretical foundation for the effect of empowerment on technology transfer effectiveness in the telecommunication companies. This study is one of the first efforts that empirically examine the effect of empowerment on technology transfer effectiveness.
