Paper Title
Bank Performance and Financial Sector Reform in Thailand

Abstract
This paper examines the effects of financial sector reform on Thailand’s bank performance. The data envelopment analysis (DEA) model was used to estimate the efficiency of 15 Thai banks during the 2001 – 2014. The results indicated that their efficiency declined and mean efficiency before the implementation of the FSMP is statistically significantly higher than afterward. The determinants of bank efficiency are organizational structure, types of deposit-taking institutions, and relative loans.
