Paper Title
A Multi-Period Planning Model for Uncertain Supply Chain Network Configuration

Abstract
Designing efficient supply chain networks is a crucial affair in achievement of the involving members’ goals. The issue can be investigated from different aspects as the network configuration can influence the short and long-term decisions. A multi-period network is developed in this paper that can be amended with respect to required changes in each given planning horizon. Because of long-term considerations nature and the existence of imperfect knowledge about key parameters, fuzzy possibilistic approach is applied to represent the potential uncertainties. Afterwards, Imperialist Competitive Algorithm (ICA) is addressed as a capable solution methodology. The performance of the ICA is compared with Genetic Algorithm (GA) and its validity and applicability is tested by different numerical examples. Keywords - Supply chain network design, Possibilistic programming, ICA, GA.
