Innovative Rural Health Care Services under NRHM and its Impact in Rajasthan

Abstract
Government of India has started may programmes and policies to provide primary health care to the underprivileged section of population during last decades. NRHM was launched in 2005 with the objective to improve the availability and access to quality health care by people, especially for those who residing in rural areas, the poor, women and children. NRHM is an innovation in health care industry. This paper reviews major changes brought by NRHM in Rajasthan. The present paper provides the critical analysis of community based innovations of NRHM in rural Rajasthan and its impact on primary health care indicators since 2000 to 2016. All the secondary data’s were analysed for physical infrastructure and health indicators.
