“Accelerating The Wheels” A Study on Male Two-Wheeler Users in Virar -A Satellite Suburb of Mumbai

Abstract
Abstract - India is the world’s biggest and most attractive Two-wheeler market. In a span of five years (2019 to 2024), the Two-wheeler sales volumes are expected to grow from 21.19 millionto 24.89 million units(Global two-wheeler market to grow to 62.6 million by 2025, 2020). The year 2020, was a turbulent year, but for the Two-wheeler industry there was buoyancy. Even amidst the Covid crises, the industry continues to thrive and ended the year on a high note. Purpose - The aims research to understand the important factors that motivate men to buy a Two-wheeler and assess the influence of family members on their buying decisions. The study examines factors that are considered to be very significantwhen making buying decisions. Methodology - Structured questionnaires were used for collecting primary data from 150adult male, Two-wheeler users residing in Virar. The analysis of the data collected was done, using simple percentage method, Chi Square test and weighted average mean approach. Findings - The research will depict a realistic picture ofTwo-wheeler users and their expectations. It will also shed light on the important sources of information role of family members and the impact of celebrity endorsement. Originality - The study is original in nature and the outcomesare a reflection of the information obtained from the respondents. Keywords - Two-wheeler, Male, Brand, Internet, Celebrity
