Paper Title
Scenario Planning Approach in Attaining Business Sustainability of PT Gas Transmission Pipeline

Abstract
Abstract - This paper demonstrates a qualitative approach behind the scenario planning methodology to identify driving forces that might influence business sustainability in the next five years—the case study of a natural gas transportation company in Indonesia. The scenario planning methodology is to draw plausibility from the current condition, driving forces and trends, to coping with uncertainty. The research is created by using primary and secondary data to define the scenario planning input. The input for each critical uncertainty is reduced into a single spectrum or axis of uncertainty with polar cases at each extremity. The combination of two axes will create a 2x2 matrix with four different quadrants to explore The Company's uncertainty or futures. The authors show the benefit of developing scenario planning will provide early warning signals that enable The Company to focus and be agile to respond to uncertain conditions.
