Learning Experience Affects Clinical Practice Performance of Nursing Students in Eastern Taiwan

Abstract
Abstract - Nursing clinical practice plays an important role in the application of nursing professional knowledge and clinical adaptation, but many factors may cause nursing students to terminate clinical practice and nursing learning programs. This study aimed to determine the correlation between nursing student learning experience and performance of the clinical practice. This study adopted a retrospective research design and utilized the school database to analyze the factors associated with performance in clinical practice. Study results suggest that many factors of the learning experience are significantly associated with clinical practice performance. These findings have important implications for improving nursing education and nursing clinical education. Keywords - Clinical Practice, Learning Experience, Learning Performance, Nursing Student
