Paper Title
Dynamic Capability and Performance Outcomes: Roles of Technological Innovation Capacities and Task Characteristics

Abstract
Developing dynamic capability in turbulent environments is important. The first objective was to examine the mediating role of technological innovation capacities in the relationship between dynamic capability and performance outcomes. The second objective was to assess the moderating role of task characteristics in the relationship between technological innovation capacities and performance outcomes. To address the aims, a survey was conducted in the Taiwanese high-tech industry. To test the mediating role of technological innovation capabilities, four models were analyzed. In testing the moderation effect, a multiple-group analysis was used. These analyses suggest that developing dynamic capability has a positive effect on technological innovation capacities, which subsequently leads to improved performance outcomes. The results also show that task characteristics have a moderating effect on the relationship between technological innovation capacities and performance outcomes. Index Terms- Dynamic Capability, Technological Innovation Capabilities, Performance Outcomes, Task Characteristics.
