Analysis of Sustainable Competitive Advantage for Social Businesses in Thailand

Abstract
The phenomenon of rapidly emerging many social businesses in Thailand in the last few years is still questionable for their sustainability. Although this type of social businesses is well-known and successful in Europe and United Kingdom, this type of business is still in the early- stage and it is new in Thailand. This research therefore aims to explore the abilities of social businesses in Thailand for achieving sustainable competitive advantage (SCA) and how to overcome their problems. By in-depth interview from nine social businesses in Thailand, results show that they are still struggling in this stage. However, there are many opportunities for them to be successful.
