Abstract : The two objectives of this research study were to study the context of city development, public policy of cable
installation, the success of cooperation of various agencies, and the quality of life of people in Nakhon Sri Thammarat
province as well as to study the influence of city development plan, public policy of cable installation, the success of
cooperation of various agencies, and the quality of life of people in Nakhon Sri Thammarat province. This is a mixed
research of both document research and field research by utilizing an in-depth interview and non-participant observation. A
purposive sampling of 20 key informants was conducted with 400 sample groups. The study was conducted during October
of 2016 to May of 2017. The findings revealed that the key answer to the city development and public policy of cable
installation plan must be implement based on the idea of sustainable development between the development and the
environment which could positively impact the quality of life.
