Abstract : This paper focus on the specific situation of post-conflict countries in Sub-Saharan Africa. It presents how development aid engages in post-conflict reconstruction of agricultural sector, which is very important economic sector for most states in SSA. The aim of this paper is to outline the engagement of development assistance in post-conflict reconstruction and show if it can account for a significant prerequisite of structural change on case of Rwanda that underwent successful post-conflict settlement and nowadays is fast and stable growing economy even despite its conflict past.
