Abstract : This paper is largely focused on the utilization of the SEF or the Special Education Fund and the political imperatives associated with its utilization within the domain of the Daang Matuwid of the Aquino Administration from 2010-2016. The results from the Survey, the Interviews and documentary analysis show that the Daang Matuwid has not been able to fully fulfill its promise of eradicating corruption and ensuring effectiveness in the utilization of the Special Education Fund.
