Abstract : The present work tries to present a instrument for the diagnosis of sustainable development approach in the High Education institutions, taking into account the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) promoted by United Nations. The main objective is to diagnose the situation of university activity in the area of sustainable development, focusing especially on its role as an educational institution. To this end, the activities carried out by the universities, the manner in which they develop the profile of sustainability in their students have been analyzed and finally a tool for studying the participation and interest of students in cooperation and sustainability issues has been proposed. With all this we intend to contribute to facilitate the universities the definition of proposals and programs that commit the university community to sustainable development.
