Abstract : The present study was undertaken to probe the correlation between study habits and academic achievement of Afghan EFL students. Using stratified random sampling technique, a total number of 169 students were selected as the sample for this study. The correlational design was used to collect and analyze the date. The Pal sane and Sharma`s study habits inventory (PSSHI) was adapted as the instrument to measure students’ study habits while their previous semester grades (average percentage) were used to assess and measure their academic achievement. Then, the collected data were analyzed using SPSS software. Mainly, descriptive statistics and Pearson product moment correlation coefficient were employed. The statistical analysis of Pearson correlation highlighted that there is a significant positive correlation between Afghan EFL students’ study habits and their academic achievement.
