Abstract : In this study, examination of the relationship of workaholism levels and Innovative Human Capital (IHC), as well as the determination of the workaholism and IHC levels with demographic variables, are intended. In this context, to measure the level of workaholism, questionnaire and interview technique were used to measure the perception of innovation and data were collected. The population of the study is composed of specialist doctors working in Istanbul, and the sample of the study consists of 23 specialist doctors. As a result of the analyses, it was found that the workaholism level of the doctors was moderate and the perception of innovation was high. Doctors who give importance to education go on average 2-3 training a year. The doctors, who stated that the training was essential in their professions, said that they attended the training to update their professional developments as well as being aware of new technologies, including innovative diagnosis and treatment methods. The doctors who believe in the necessity of the training stated that they could not participate in the training as much as they wanted due to their workload and their heavy workload was an obstacle.
