Abstract : As the global economy becomes more important to economic success, it is increasingly important ot understand
the implication of the differences in national cultures and the influence this has on preferred leadership styles. This paper
exams the relationship between different dimensions of national culture as defined by Geert Hofstede and the relationship to
specific leadership styles.
