Abstract : Genomics is a core part of genetics that studies the order of nucleotides which is a building block to DNA containing genes situated on a person’s chromosome of genes, the genomes. DNA is one of the essential molecules in all organisms that cover replication, transcription, and genetic information. A genome is all of the genetic material in an organism. Genome is the entire set of genetic material found in a cell/nucleus of an organism and controls the activities at four different bases, A, T, G, and C. joining together in a double helix. Genetics signifies transitional learning of characters from one generation to another while genomics involves the study of genes of all living organisms both contribute an important part in a biomedical study of humans. Genomics does not encompass single gene research nevertheless aim is to examine the effects against the backdrop of the entire genome. The United States Environmental Protection Agency designed to protect people and the environment from substantial health risks explained that genomics concerns an extensive range of scientific investigation and analytical techniques to regulate the concentration of the chemical compound. Genetics and genomics play role in health and disease. Genomics is a study of a person’s genes that expresses the interaction of all genes at the DNA, mRNA, and proteome level as well as the cellular or tissue level and with the person’s environment. Genomics is very much a technology-driven biomedical study exploring and discovering more genomes of the individual organism and enabling to create a trove for bioinformatics about human health. Sequencing of genomes is the complete process of chopping down the genome into fragments to analyze the make-up of a patient’s DNA. DNA is like a blueprint of the human body that manifest features about ancestry, parental heredity, and more information to be used in biomedical data and for forensic evidence. The progress in biotechnologies has made countless progress in the biomedical field of study nevertheless at the same instant confronted with complex legal and ethical problems which intersect with substantive Law and legal policies which require the higher skills of investigators and lawyers to study and analyze the forensic reports of DNA for arguing the claim under tort law and enabling to dispense the criminal Justice. The genomics scientific tools are developing rapidly and contemporarily involving their scope and usage in the field of Intellectual Property Rights and criminal justice. The professional norms and ethics about clinical practice are modern-day being developed which necessitated the integrated knowledge and professional capability with the core aspect of Civil and judicial investigation particularly regarding issues about personal consent, privacy law, family law, intellectual property rights law, and criminal justice. This paper aims to explore the methods connecting to criminal law, legal procedure, tort law's claim, ethical and privacy issues intersect with the science of genomics. Keywords - Sequencing DNA, genomics for criminal justice, civil and privacy law.
